   Захищається рукопис, який містить дослідження проблеми загальнолюдських цінностей у контексті громадянського виховання у Франції. У дисертації простежено генезис наукових уявлень французьких учених про розвиток ідеї громадянського виховання в історії педагогічної думки Франції. Здійснено аналіз сучасних теоретичних основ громадянського виховання у Франції в умовах міжкультурної інтеграції, окреслено його зміст, цілі й принципи. Розглянуто громадянське виховання як чинник демократизації французького суспільства. Виявлено основні напрямки формування загальнолюдських ціннісних уявлень і виховання ціннісних орієнтацій у процесі громадянської освіти, у позакласній та позашкільній роботі в загальноосвітній школі Франції. Здійснено аналіз програм з навчальних курсів „Громадянське виховання” для французьких колежів та „Громадянське, юридичне й соціальне виховання” для ліцеїв, розглянуто міжпредметні зв’язки з іншими дисциплінами, окреслено основні шляхи використання позитивного французького досвіду громадянського виховання в середніх школах України.

   Защищается рукопись, которая содержит исследование проблемы общечеловеческих ценностей в контексте гражданского воспитания во Франции. В диссертации прослежен генезис научных представлений французских ученых о развитии идеи гражданского воспитания в истории педагогической мысли Франции. Проведен анализ современных теоретических основ гражданского воспитания во Франции в условиях межкультурной интеграции, обозначены его содержание, цели и принципы. Выявлены основные направления формирования общечеловеческих ценностных представлений и ценностных ориентаций в процессе гражданского образования, а также во внеклассной и внешкольной работе в общеобразовательной школе Франции. Осуществлен анализ особенностей учебных программ по учебным курсам “Гражданское воспитание” для французских коллежей и “Гражданское, юридическое и социальное воспитание” для лицеев Франции. Выявлены основные направления, формы и методы гражданского воспитания во внеклассной и внешкольной работе в общеобразовательной школе Франции, рассмотрены межпредметные связи с другими дисциплинами. Обозначены возможные пути использования позитивного французского опыта гражданского воспитания в средних школах Украины.

Bazjanovskaya O.V. Human values in a context of citizenship education of schoolboys in secondary schools in France. – Manuscript.

   The manuscript under defense contains the research of a problem of human values in a context of citizenship education in France. Genesis of scientific representations of the French scientists about development of idea of citizenship education in a history of a pedagogical conception of France was retraced in this dissertational research. The analysis of modern theoretical bases of citizenship education in France in conditions of intercultural integration is carried out. There have been observed Ukrainian, Russian and French definitions of the notion of citizenship education. Its contents, purposes and principles are designated. The basic directions of formation of human value representations and orientations during citizenship education and also in out-of-class work in a comprehensive school of France are revealed. The ratio of civil and political education of the schoolboys in conditions of development of democracy is considered. The analysis of features of the educational programs of a subject "Citizenship education" in a comprehensive school of France is made. The intersubject connections with other disciplines are considered. The basic directions, forms and methods of citizenship education in out-of-class hours in a comprehensive school of France are revealed. The possible ways of use of French positive experience of citizenship education in secondary schools of Ukraine are designated.
   The idea of citizenship education has passed some stages in its development. Reorientation of social consciousness of France in XVI-XVII centuries on priorities of values of humanism creates the preconditions for occurrence of idea of citizenship education in this country. The significant influence on development of citizenship education was rendered by the period of French Enlightenment considering society as a primary factor of influence on the person. The public figures of the French revolution which have radically reformed the system of education, and also representatives of "positivism" and sociology in XIX century have determined the subsequent direction of development of idea of citizenship education. The theory of existentialism in the French philosophy and pedagogics in XX century has rendered huge influence on formation of the modern concepts of civics education.
   The comparative analysis of modern treatments of the term "citizenship education" in the French, Ukrainian and Russian pedagogical literature, its key characteristics allow to designate the given concept as a social-pedagogical process of transformation of the person in a socially significant creature realizing his rights and duties, capable of performing his civil duty.
   The essence of human aspects of citizenship education in France consists in the following:
   1. to form in the schoolboys understanding and public activity in business of the solution of global problems and contradictions of a modern society;
   2. to impart human value attitude to cultural traditions of various social groups, and also rights and freedom of the separate persons;
   3. to form in to the schoolboys general civil political value orientation: to train in a political culture, orator and organizing art, to develop knack of conducting political dialogue, to persist in one’s opinion, to think critically, to resist to a manipulation by consciousness;
   4. to provide understanding with the pupils of unity both interrelation of patriotism and internationalism;
   5. to impart human value attitude to world global art culture;
   6. to form in the schoolboys the feeling of unity, human solidarity with the peoples of all countries, the culture of interethnic communication.
   The education of the future French citizens is carried out in all general educational institutions at all levels initial and secondary school within educational disciplines "Citizenship education" (elementary school and colleges) and "Citizenship, legal and social education" (lycées). The contents of the programs in these subjects are characterized by a sequence and reflect the process of democratization of the French society.
   Children's and youth councils, organized social structure, which is the new form of involving the young people in public life, also render a great influence on formation of the future citizens of France. The basic purpose of children's and youth councils is to deepen theoretical knowledge of young people of their rights, about the work of social institutes, and also to enable them to get necessary experience of the execution of civil duties.
   The citizenship education in France is carried out not only in frameworks of teaching and educational process, but also during work of the French and European classes of heritage, which are the new form of realization of out-of-school work with the pupils of secondary schools. The basic tasks of citizenship education are decided during the activity of the European classes of heritage: to give the theoretical knowledge of the rights of a man and a citizen, to develop the feeling of belonging of the young people to the European community and the feeling of tolerance in relation to other people, to teach them to respect other men etc.
